A flap exhaust system works according to a simple principle: You can use a flap to regulate the course of the exhaust gases and at the same time the sound on the silencer. The NAP flap sport exhaust system is controlled via our own Automatic Valve Control Module.
The electronic control unit NAP-Valve-Control is the brain of our valve exhaust systems. Because the NAP valve control unit can read Canbus signals that come from the engine's ECU, it ensures that you are always on the road in compliance with the law, regardless of which mode is currently active. The system is bound to the parameters specified by the EU. If necessary, it intervenes gently and seamlessly. The button in the cockpit switches from sporty comfort to a robust off-road sound that fully underlines the performance of your Grand Cherokee SRT.
The pipes are welded using a certified process. This TIG welding takes place under the complete absence of air in the melt. When welding, we also flush the inside of the pipes with inert gas so that the oxygen-containing atmosphere is displaced. This prevents later oxidation (rust formation) of the weld seam. At the same time you achieve a much higher strength Weld. Externally recognizable by the golden seams. Additional effect: The weld seam is very flat (minimal weld root). This gives your engine an optimal exhaust flow without turbulence and therefore outstanding performance values with the best sound.

We have a general ABE for Germany and an EC approval number for the EU. The number is engraved on the system, and you will also receive a written copy of the certificate. With the exception of a few countries, the ABE is even valid worldwide. Our sport valve exhaust system is registration-free.
