Information About the German Packaging Act & Packaging Register
As an online retailer for Jeep spare parts, Jeep accessories and off-road components, 4 Wheel Parts fulfils its obligations under the German Packaging Act. This includes registration in the LUCID Packaging Register and participation in a dual system for packaging that is subject to system participation.
Important note: The previous German Packaging Ordinance has been replaced by the German Packaging Act. The current obligations under the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) are therefore relevant, in particular registration, system participation and data reporting in connection with packaging.
Our Participation in a Packaging Take-Back System
For sales packaging that we first fill with goods and supply to private end consumers, our company participates in the nationwide take-back system of Landbell AG, Mainz, in order to fulfil the legal obligations under the German Packaging Act (VerpackG).
