The Bestop Oversize Tire Carrier utilizes load-bearing mounting brackets whichbolt to the strong sub-structure of the Jeep while a second set of non-load-bearing brackets attaches to the tailgate. These, along with a unique articulating mechanism, make the tailgate and the tire carrier open and close as a single unit and give it a hefty load rating of 90 kg.
The Bestop Oversize Tire Carrier adjusts to accommodate up to 37" tires, while black powder-coat paint helps protect the heavy-duty tubular steel against corrosion.
