In addition to the keypad, the DTE performance enhancement PowerControl X can now also be operated from the cockpit.

The following app functions are i.a. included:

• Connection and deactivation function of the tuning box via smartphone
• The chip tuning’s extra power can be easily switched on or off with the smartphone
• change between various driving programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency
• The app includes a configurable warm-up timer: drivers can decide how long warming up is needed before using the engine tuning
• Displaying of turbo pressure, rail pressure and rpm in real time
• An innovative accelerometer that measures the g-forces applying to the vehicle

DTE have developed a multi-map tuning technology which can optimise up to nine different channels, all in real time. DTE’s PowerControl X is able to control them all, no matter whether it is common rail pressure, boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass volume. Even the latest generation and most technically demanding engines are effortlessly optimised, all within a multi-dimensional multi-map environment. The driver is able to select between 3 different programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency with 7 power levels each.

With DTE’s PowerControl X, drivers have the option to choose their own and fully customizable driving program:

Sport
In Sport mode, the engine’s parameters are modified for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a more responsive driving experience.

Dynamic
The Dynamic mode is a great all-rounder and very well balanced for long distances. The vehicle reacts more dynamically for better agility throughout the rpm range.

Efficiency
The Efficiency mode is focused on improving the engine’s fuel consumption. Savings of up to 15% can be achieved.

The integrated high-performance processor references the data received from the engine against the stored variable tables to make constant automatic adjustments.

Remote-Management-Keypad* displays the current selected program and power level. With the onboard controls you can switch between maps and your system can be individually fine-tuned.

The glass-fibre reinforced housing meets all of our customer requirements for a robust, long-lasting product providing continuous power and is suitable for use in extreme temperature ranges.

A heat-resistant circuitry ensures a particularly high wear resistance and the best possible surface quality.

Installation: Using the illustrated installation instructions provided, installation can be done quickly and easily; even if you have no knowledge of electronics, you can do it yourself in no time thanks to the original plug and socket connector. You don't need any special tools, nor to do any soldering or anything similar.  The systems are already set for each type of vehicle and require no further adjustments. Plug it in and it's done!
